North Central Area Transit (NCAT) Executive Director Mary Habig recently participated in the Community Transportation Association of American (CTAA) Legislative Fly-In in Washington, D.C. This annual event brings together transit leaders from across the nation to engage with policymakers on Capitol Hill, advocate for legislative priorities, and highlight the vital role of community transportation.
“Attending the CTAA Legislative Fly-In was a valuable opportunity to share NCAT’s mission and the needs of our communities with key decision-makers,” said Habig. “Advocating for polices that support safe, reliable, and affordable public transportation is essential to strengthening transit services in Crawford, Huron, and Seneca Counties.”
NCAT remains committed to advancing community transportation initiatives at both the local and national levels, providing residents with access to essential mobility services.
