Connecting Communities with Our New Fostoria-Tiffin Route

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the new route connecting Fostoria and Tiffin, made possible by a grant from the Ohio Department of Transportation. This route will enhance access to work, hospitals, and other essential destinations for residents in both communities.

North Central Area Transit (NCAT) is now offering a new route that will connect Tiffin and Fostoria, providing a needed route for people in those communities to travel to work, hospitals, and more.

The route expansion is due to a $240,000 grant from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s (ODOT) Ohio Transit Partnership Program. The new route is also possible thanks to renovations made to the Fostoria office to enhance NCAT’s services. Upgrades include new concrete and asphalt and an improved bus storage area, break room, and training room.

“We’re excited to bring this new route to our expanding services,” said NCAT Executive Director Mary Habig. “Connecting Fostoria and Tiffin has been a goal of ours to better serve these communities, and we look forward to the impact this has on the communities. Thank you to our partners at ODOT for helping this become reality.”

Officials are determining the best times and days for the new routes, and those will be posted on www.senecascat.org once finalized.
