NCAT Announces Key Leadership Promotion

We recently announced the promotion of Kelsie Schleter to Assistant Director, a role newly created by NCAT Board of Directors in response to the organization’s recent growth.

Schleter has 14 years of experience with NCAT, serving 12 years as lead dispatcher and two years as administrative assistant.

“We are excited to promote Kelsie to this new position,” said NCAT Board of Director President David Shelton. “She has a wealth of public transit knowledge, a positive attitude, and a deep compassion for the communities we serve. NCAT has grown considerably in recent years, and Kelsie will help us continue to grow.”

Schleter’s contributions have been instrumental in supporting NCAT’s recent expansion into Huron County, as well as the successful launch of the Shelton Shuttle Flex Routes in the Tiffin area.

“I’m honored to step into this role and continue supporting our mission of delivering safe, reliable transit services,” Schleter said. “It’s incredibly rewarding to work with such a dedicated team, and I look forward to building on our momentum.”

In her new role, Schleter will assist Executive Director Mary Habig and continue to improve the safety and operations of NCAT.

“Kelsie is well regarded by her colleagues and our riders,” Habig said. “She is known throughout NCAT for her professionalism and leadership, and I look forward to seeing the impact she has on our team and the communities we serve.”
